The CottonMaster I was developed in 2009 as an alternative to the high cost equipment being sold to handle the John Deere round rolls of cotton. The equipment now being sold requires a major investment for the gin and there is also the added cost of equipment to transport the cotton from the yard to the feeder. The CottonMaster I eliminates this need.

The CottonMaster attaches to a loader which handles the round roll of cotton from the gin yard to the feeder and is designed with 56 spikes along top and bottom that gently removes the plastic without contamination. Other methods put the round roll on the feeder end-to-end, which requires extra clean up and in some instances, extra labor due to cotton falling on the catwalk. The CottonMaster I allows for placement of the round rolls side-to-side versus end-to-end. The horizontal exposure to the module feeder’s spike rollers or feeder head results in a much more efficient use of the module feeder in terms of space available and allows one to regulate the speed of the feeder floor to be more consistent with the needs of the cotton gin. This arrangement of the round rolls also eliminates the need of sideboards along the feeder.

In terms of construction, the CottonMaster is designed and constructed with a high grade, heavy steel along with aluminum bronze bushings with 2 inch greaseable pins at each pivot point to ensure minimal wear and tear of the CottonMaster I. The CottonMaster I is equipped with a hitch designed to adapt to any Commercial Loader on the market today.
